On Saturday 4 February 2012, Sherman Cymru reopened to the public following a £6.5 million transformation. The redevelopment of the building has not only created a new iconic creative venue for Cardiff, but has also vastly improved the experience that you and thousands of people have when visiting the theatre.
"Another wonderful addition to the Cardiff performing arts scene - what a terrific public space - the most welcoming of venues."
Audience members and supporters, Jo and Martin Furber
We are incredibly grateful for all the tremendous support for the redevelopment Sherman Cymru has received from trusts and foundations, corporate organisations and from individuals.
There is still the opportunity for you to

Away from the redevelopment, we continue to raise support for the work that Sherman Cymru undertakes, including our productions, Creative Learning projects and writer development initiatives. Find more about joining our new Supporters' Scheme - Calon
We want to fill the new building with as much creative activity as possible, and we can only do that with your continued support.
You have already, and you still can, make a difference.
