Be Part Of Sherman Cymru's SgriptSlam At The National Eisteddfod 2011

Sherman Cymru are inviting submissions of ten minute plays or scenes for the stage in Welsh, by new and exciting writers, for our popular project, Sgript Slam at this year’s National Eisteddfod in Wrexham.

We will be choosing 9 scripts to be developed and performed in Theatr y Maes in August, in front of a panel of experts and an enthusiatic audience. Performances will take place on the Monday, Wednesday and Friday of Eisteddfod week, and in each session the audience will choose their favourite play. Each daily winner will receive a collection of playscripts and the opportunity to develop as a writer with Sherman Cymru.

The closing date for submissions is June 10th, 2011

We would also like to hear from actors and directors who would like to work on the project with us and we will be able to cover travel costs and Eisteddfod admission for those involved.
