Deep Cut yn derbyn clod mawr yn Llundain -

Mae Deep Cut, cynhyrchiad gwobrwyol Sherman Cymru a dderbyniodd clod mawr y beirniaid yng Ng?yl Ymylol Caeredin llynedd, wedi derbyn adolygiadau ardderchog ers agoriad y cynhyrchiad yn theatr y Tricycle yn Llundain yr wythnos hon. Mae’r cynhyrchiad yn rhedeg am fis yn Llundain.

Enillydd gwobr Fringe First y Scotsman, gwobr ‘Herald Angel’, gwobr ‘Freedom of Expression’ Amnesty ynghyd ag Actores Gorau (Rhian Blythe) ac Actor Gorau (Ciaran McIntyre) yn wobrau The Stage. Deep Cut oedd y ddrama i weld yn ystod yr ?yl.
 
Mae cwmni film Michael Winterbottom ac Andrew Eaton, Revolution Films, wedi hawlddewis hawlfraint y ddrama ac mae fersiwn sgrin y sgript bellach o dan ddatblygiad.

Disgrifiwyd Deep Cut gan adolygydd y Daily Express, Paul Callan fel - “…a tense and deeply thought-provoking play”. Fe wnaeth hefyd canmol perfformiadau’r cast -

“Ciaran McIntyre as Des and Rhian Morgan as the emotional Doreen bring great intensity to their difficult roles.”

“Simon Molloy is grippingly realistic as Nicholas Blake QC…”

“Deep Cut joins the Tricycle’s admirable list of verbatim dramas that use the public forum of theatre to ask the awkward questions and keep on asking them.”

Mae rhieni'r pedwar milwr fu farw ym Marics Deepcut wedi ail-lansio eu hymgyrch am ymchwiliad cyhoeddus annibynnol gyda deiseb ar-lein yn casglu nifer helaeth o lofnodau.
