The Snow Queen rules her magical kingdom with a heart of ice and a grip as cold as steel. When shards of an enchanted mirror fly into Cei’s eye he falls under its spell. He becomes cold-hearted and the Snow Queen steals him away to her far-away land.
With Cei as her helper, The Snow Queen has a chilling plan: to freeze the hearts of all living things and rule supreme over a world of snow and ice.
Only little Gerda, Cei’s childhood friend, believes he can still be rescued and sets out on a life-changing journey to save Cei and defeat the Snow Queen.
Join Gerda as she travels on a daring adventure to save Cei, and the world, from the clutches of The Snow Queen.
This Christmas, the whole family will be swept away by Hans Christian Andersen’s most memorable and intriguing tale, in a sparkling new adaptation by internationally-acclaimed playwright Charles Way.

***** "Part fairytale, part chilling drama and part pure panto, The Snow Queen is this winter's must-see treat" Metro
"...everything you could ask for in a family Christmas show: characters that light up the stage; a wonder-world of magic and invention and a spectacular set that carries you off, whatever your age." British Theatre Guide
"The Snow Queen has to be described as one of the greatest plays ever performed at Sherman. Sherman always endeavours to turn complex stories into easy to understanding plots and the Snow Queen is the perfect example of this. The acting was some of the best you are ever likely to see and the scenery and costumes reflected this. This is the perfect thing to see this Christmas." Hugo Sbrana-Thomas, age 11
