Sherman Cymru will close its doors after this years Christmas show, A Christmas Carol, for the eagerly awaited redevelopment of the theatre.
The refurbishment will vastly improve the experience that you and thousands of others will have when visiting the theatre in the future with a complete overhaul of the front of house area and a totally new look for the front of the theatre. There will also be new seating, heating and ventilation systems as well as improvements to accessibility in all areas of the building.
We have been awarded a Capital Lottery grant of £3.9 million from the Arts Council of Wales for the redevelopment but still need to raise £1.5 million. Join our patrons, actors Sian Phillips and Matthew Rhys in our adopt a seat appeal, Sit With Us, for just £10 a month, and you may well find yourself sitting next to them!
