Suor Angelica, one of Puccini’s most beautiful and intimate operas, tells the tragic and deeply moving story of a woman with strong emotions, forced into a holy life by her family.

L’Enfant et les Sortilèges includes some of Ravel’s most ravishing music, telling the tale of a wicked and mischievous child who causes havoc all around his room, only to face the consequences in a very unusual way.

Two highly contrasting and entertaining operas from two great operatic composers.
